Friendly staff and efficient layout. Only downside to today’s visit was “hard plastics” recycling point was full so what would have gone in there went in “general waste” which is a bit disappointing.
I have always found the staff helpful and considerate.
Well run, easy access, helpful staff.
Why do I get the feeling some of these reviews are false? The workers are sooo unhelpful, I'm disabled and I watched workers stand around talking while my nephew unloaded my hire van, they were more than happy to watch him struggle up and down the ramps in 30 degree heat. I also saw numerous elderly customers clearly struggling and being left to do so while they stood around doing NOTHING. Imo some of these reviews praising staff for helping are clearly, at best not accurate, my experience was 100% the complete opposite, I was in there for approx 30 mins and I saw NOT ONE employee help ANYONE.

It's OK but not sure quite what the staff are there for. They just stand around watching people struggle with their rubbish. Containers not easy to access when too far away from the ramps & really full. Sugnage could also be better
Why does it always take an age to get to access this site? Always a huge tail back of waiting vehicles right back to the A5. Just encourages fly tipping. The council need to sort out. Other tips deal with covid issues far more efficiently.
Poorly organised and unhelpful staff barking orders. Queued for an hour to get in during this time, someone could have walked down the queue and expand the covid and site rules. Instead, they preferred to shout at people from a distance if things weren't done right. I get that it's only a dump. Part of the job of dealing with the public is the service thing tho :/
It is a good place to get rid of a large amount of waste, and it is easy to do so. The main problem is the time it takes sometimes to get to the parking. The line can take you about an hour or more to get through, so make sure you always have time when you plan to go.
Visited today and made two trips from home. The site is very efficiently run with helpful and professional staff. I expected to be there a long time but the staff had things running very smoothly and I was in and away in no time. A very good experience
