Torbay Council

"TORBAY COUNCIL".....Many people that I have spoken to are wondering why "TORBAY COUNCIL" are not enthusiastic in professionally maintaining the infrastructure that supports the 'tourist industry' on which provides many local people with, in many cases, a lower than average income, minimum wages....."They just do not care" is stated by some as it is evident that certain "street furniture" is left in a dilapidated state, whilst other items have been recently replaced.....As an example certain "flower beds" receive the full works all year round, as others receive little or no attention at all, like those at the 'travel hub', "TORQUAY HARBOUR", with those who avidly view such areas, wondering why + this has been going on for years.....A Sunday walk around "TORBAY" revealed nearly all of the public toilets to be closed, boarded up, temporarily closed due to blockages....Compared to other successful holiday destinations + town centres "TORBAY COUNCIL" needs people who want to see their "TORBAY" as one of the best holiday destinations in the South West.....Private Companies, Hoteliers and those that positively promote the area are doing their bit for "TORBAY".....Even I have been 'personally' attacked for stating fair + constructive comments regarding the areas that need improving upon.... Others complain that "TORBAY COUNCIL" just do not listen...."TORBAY COUNCIL"...."THEY CAN, BUT DO THEY REALLY WANT TO"....
