Story

Top Taste was established in 1999 by a local businessman, who had one goal in mind to deliver fine and quality food to Sunderland residents at comfort of their home.
Employing one of the finest Italian Chef in City Late Haider Farooqi. Haiders passion for food and hard work paid off and in coming months Top Taste became one of the renowned takeaways in Sunderland City.

Over the next few years Top Taste introduced some exciting fusion dishes in Sunderland. Adding choice to its menu and offering customers a wide selection of cuisine under one roof. Ranging from mouth watering Mediterranean Kebabs to hot and spicy tikka and balti pizzas. Popular Mexican dishes were added to menu over the next few years and what we have today is a fabulous choice of dishes from Mexico, North America, Italy, Indian Sub continent & Middle East.

The food is good, I only have one issue in that the Chilli sauce that came with the kebabs we ordered was pretty poor, more akin to something out of a bottle.

The food from here is lovely, the 16” pizza is the best by far and it’s very well priced. Recommend anyone to try it.

Generally average food. No longer a fave place to order after moving away from the area. Certainly one of the best in that location still.

Food tasted lovely but wrong order and a hair in chips. Awful customer service wouldnt believe us that order was wrong. When spoke to manager, sent plain chips that didnt come in the first place but were covered in garlic.

Normally i can't fault this pizza shop but I've tried to phone for 20 minutes solid which has delayed my order!.
