I have just eaten here this afternoon.. beautiful food freshly cooked and genuinely have no complaints with the quality of each amazing dish. There's diversity and something for everyone here. The staff work very very hard and are incredibly helpful the atmosphere in the restaurant is fabulous and is very welcoming would absolutely recommend if you're in Sunderland for the day it's beautiful. The only complaint would be that maybe sometimes you would have to wait for the food that you would like to eat to be cooked and brought out but you're never waiting more than 10 minutes and there are so many options it's never a problem for me personally I wish I could rate you 6* panda garden.. thank you very much.
I love Chinese cuisine. I love a succulent Chinese meal. Usually though, I get my fix from takeaways, usually as a treat, but Panda brings this to a whole new level with an All You Can Eat experience. Panda is your standard All You Can Eat; you go up, grab a plate, construction a mountain of various meats and sauces, Henry Hoover the pile of food into your face, and repeat until you feel physically ill. But usually the food at these sort of places is pretty standard, but Panda has so many amazing things to try; even things I don't like from takeaways, are banging from here. Personally, I think the chicken balls are one of the best. Also, I think the Honey Pork is one of the most amazing foods I've ever had. And everything is better in Cantonese Sauce. On the downside, I think there needs to be some Cantonese Sauce items available, rather than just the sauce, and also, the sweet and sour sauce tastes a little artificial, almost chemically. It's weird. But it's an outlier, everything here is amazing. Some advice though. Don't eat a lot before you come here, else you won't have room for all the food. Secondly, try to resist the urge to immediately shovel as much food down as possible, and take it slow, slower than you usually would. You'll be able to eat much more this way, and enjoy the experience for longer. The staff here are really kind, very quick to clear plates, ask if you need any more drinks, asking how everything is. Very kind! The prices are very fair, I think I paid £14 for myself, but it depends on the time of day I think? But that's about how much I'd pay for a Chinese Takeaway, and this is like that but infinite, so really worth it. The only downside is the last time I was here, there was a crying toddler there for most of the time, but that's nothing on the establishment. You'll occasionally get kids here, that's just life. Overall amazing experience. Already been twice and I'll likely return soon!
Absolutely Beautiful food. All set out professionally and nice professional staff. Only thing I will say is at £14.90 per person before drinks it's a tad expensive so expect to spend a lot there but for the quality of food and service it's kinda worth it. Restaurant very clean and tidy too.
Good price for value, delicious food, friendly staff, place is clean but not huge variety of choice. Gave it 4 stars because of small~ish choice of dishes, got 1 month expired beer which was sorted out and exchanged straight away and coffee cookie which was 5 months past expiry date didn't bother with that one, therefore would suggest everyone checks expiry dates.
Will never eat here again. Wanted to charge my child adult price for being about an inch over the height chart she is 11 years old and wouldn't eat enough for adult price. I hope these money grabbing rip of merchants go out of business. Luckily there is plenty of other places to eat close that don't rip you off and offer better food as I've Luckily found out. So thanks for making me go elsewhere and support honest people out there. No wonder it was very quiet when we called. Fortunately there is other buffet restaurants that we will now use .
Nothing was hot bar the soup charge extra money on an evening for duck not even sure it was but was advertised as duck was just fat and skin can't actually say any dish was nice almost every dish contained the jelly texture chicken salt and pepper chicken and prawns ...prawns still had shells on by time you peeled them was like a shrimp I always thought you had to hold food at a minimum temp of + 65°c by law verry expensive for the quality and standard of the food Can say staff tried there best to be welcoming but English was broken and very limited
Amazing place. Huge selection of dishes and cakes/ice cream etc that are all kept very hygienic in roll top containers. Staff were really friendly and chatty and made a point of making sure our table was kept clean and tidy, empty glasses and plates were taken away as soon as they were seen which obviously left more room for us to get more food Will definitely be going back there again.
One of the cleanest restaurant ive ever been to. The staff are really helpful and friendly, the foods are great and well prepared. Hope to dine here again soon
