Situated in Sunderland city centre, our family run Italian restaurant was established in 1989. With over 40 years experience working within the restaurant trade Italian head chef and owner Rino alongside his wife and children all ensure a great dining experience. The restaurant itself has an authentic, rustic feel with decor to match while our long serving staff are renowned for their friendliness and genuine hospitality. A combination of great food and fantastic service along with a warm and friendly atmosphere, means that you will experience a true Italian welcome, every time you dine at Tosca.

Been going here for over 20 years never had a problem with the food or service until recently. My seafood was not edible and was sent back. Such a shame as we used to visit at least once a month
