Our vision is to concentrate on the basics, to reach the heart of Thailand's fragrances and taste, our food isn't indulgent 'Royal Thai' cuisine. It's simple, fresh, tasty Thai food based on everyday street food, cooked fresh to order. We work tirelessly to bring you a menu of delicious dishes combing old family recipes with new modern ideas.
Our concept stems from the belief that Thai food should not be a fussy, once-in-a-blue-moon dining experience but a quick, easy, and healthy option that can be enjoyed every day.
Our diverse and wholesome menu offers a variety of delicious, noodles and rice dishes, curries and stir-fries. We also bring you our speciality 'The Bangkok Soup Bowl’ a clear broth, filled to the brim with veg, meat, rice or noodles, for a healthy option.

Amazing food, always prepared quickly but great to watch them prepare stuff in their kitchen.

The service is shockingly slow. From Ramsbottom in clear traffic we had been told the food would take 40 minutes. I arrived on time. It took another 40 mins. At the end as the food was finally arriving and after excuse after excuse, I was advised that the card machine was out with the driver. I left a review on Facebook only to be abused by their profile, stating I was a liar about the card machine and they never took cards before, only on delivery - how would I know this? The owner takes straightforward feedback extremely personally. He kept trying to say its effectively worth the wait as the food is amazing. It really isn't. Its ok, but is priced at about £10 for a takeaway more than very decent restaurants like the Eastern Eye, for very comparable food. He needs to realise that appalling service leads to an awful experience and nobody wants to lose 2 hours on a Friday night, half of which is spent in his grotty, seat less, cold reception area. You can't even get a drink while you wait. It was just awful. Had he responded positively, I would never have left a review but I fear others will just get the same poor experience.

TONGUE THAI is my new favourite take away! The staff are always very friendly, the food has always arrived within time. It's fresh, hot, well priced and incredibly tastey 😋

First time trying this place tonight, and all I can say is I will be back. Everything I ordered was amazing.

First time we've been here and the food was amazing! We chose a selection of dishes and they were all fresh, great portion sizes and delicious. Reasonable prices too and good quality ingredients! Our 4 year old son loved his chicken satay from the Little Ones' Menu! Thank you Tongue Thai and we will be back soon! We can highly recommend them!
