I went there with my husband and kid on weekday afternoon. The staff there were very nice and helpful, food were tasty, yummy . I love the fried rice and appetizers so much. The most amazing thing was the robot server, which was very "high tech" and efficient. I would definitely come again and next time looking forward to having a dinner buffet there.
First time. Had to come to see the robots lol. We loved it, highly recommend and will be back. The food came in decent size portions so there was no food wasted. Can order from your phone which is really easy. No need for getting up less you need the toilet. Staff are friendly and helpful.Food: 5/5
Visited mid-week for the dinner buffet for the first time since the new format has been introduced. Overall the individual portions ordering worked pretty well. The app and cool robot delivery made the experience much more unique and fun! The app does have some bugs e.g. on Android if the app is closed then the table is not stored and has to be re-scanned. Hopefully these slight issues are resolved. There were some slight disadvantages as to not having the traditional style buffet - for example: Not being able to have a small sample of an item to avoid waste, or not being able to choose amount of sauce or vegetables in a portion of a dish. However I think that the system is generally well implemented overall. The food itself was generally good. However it did feel a little bit pricey £20.99 for a weekday evening. The staff the human ones! were very good at explaining the system and assisting throughout. Overall, I thought that the experience was unique and fun and I would recommend.
Our first time and certainly won’t be our last time! We came on a Saturday night and it was a nice atmosphere it was busy but the service was very quick, you order through the app what you want as much as you want which I prefer. The app was very simple to use and I enjoyed the table service especially the robot that was just an experience in itself to see how the robots works it is very clever and I think it works really well. I think the price is very reasonable for the food you get good quality and good quantity. The staff was very helpful and the manager was so lovely. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back next time I’ll bring the children because they’ll love the robot! I’m such a fussy eater and get the basics from a Chinese takeaway so now I’ve managed to try different Chinese food and realised what I’ve been missing out on!
We were invited here recently to test out the new dining experience with Bella bot. The service was great and so much choice on food! We will be back again soon!
Obviously changed due to covid which is understandable and explains the robots.....No buffet however is still all you can eat which would be fine if the menu wasn't very very basic. If you accidentally close down the app you have to go find the front of house girl who was lovely to scan the QR code for your table again. Unfortunately one of the staff, I won't mention who appears to have a bit of a hygiene issue and that kind of smell just doesn't make for an enjoyable dining experience. The wee server robots were fairly quick bringing the food out but given its the first time we've visited since before the pandemic it was over all quite disappointing and not worth the money. Sorry
Amazing food friendly host lots of yummy yummy food definitely worth the money. Only downside was waiters constantly coming up to table asking if we're ok think in an hour we had someone come up 10 times plus but we also understand that if using the robot service they need to check up on customers but overall a really good experience and will definitely be visiting again with the family xx
Poor experience for me and my partner. First time in this restaurant. Asked to download the app on arrival to order meals to begin with, that's fine if there was mobile signal in and around the building to do so, we had to eventually use a device provided by the restaurant. Seated in one of the booths with uncomfortable seating, felt like I was sat on a wooden pallet with a sticky unclean table to add. Limited menu with not much in the way of descriptions of dishes, just basic images. Food arrives which is over seasoned, some dishes inedible due to over salting, have to also order condiments over the app which then takes a further 12 minutes to come to the table. Desserts a let down too, using squeezy ice cream sauces to top dessert dishes, nothing like the pictures show. Food brought to the table by unenthusiastic staff members who look like they can't wait to get out of the place also. First time for Bolton TCB and will be the last. All very unappealing
The food isn't the best Chinese food you'll ever taste, but it's a buffet!! And for a buffet it's really good. We went last night about 5.30pm. The staff here are excellent, extremely attentive, really friendly, really efficient. The robots are absolutely adorable, I loved them so much!! Honestly, can't find a fault, they have managed to create an extremely efficient atmosphere and worked to eliminate food waste, and if more businesses ran this way - they'd be a lot more profitable!
The restaurant was lovely and clean and the app was really easy to use! As it was our first time the lady who seated us was really helpful in showing us how to set it up and use it. There was a great selection of food and everything came quickly and efficiently via the robot. The robot was a really good touch and meant that people didn’t have to get up and cross paths! All the food was tasty and came as described. I really liked the portion size as it wasn’t too big so meant you could taste lots of different dishes without feeling overfaced.
