One of the best Bergers I have ever had. Great service, food arrived very fast. Nice atmosphere, feels like a proper dinner. Side were really good, specially the onion rings. Limited option for beers though.
Our waiter was super sweet and were generally fast in preparing our orders I’m not really a big fan of burgers but their classic chicken was a bit dry however, overall, pretty tasty .. wish I ordered the Korean burger though, as it looked fantastic! Also ordered sweet potato fries that were super yummy !!
Best. Burgers. In the UK! And chicken too! And vegan burgers too! No, seriously! You can't go wrong with anything you order here. Top marks for the Loaded Burger. I mean, who knew slapping some bourbon BBQ brisket on top of a burger with some crispy onions was going to be so delicious? Absolutely amazing! My wife loved her "naked" chicken. Our daughter's favorite is the Classic Vegan burger. And our SIL always orders the the GBK Cheese & Bacon burger. I also recommend the tater tots... especially the Black Garlic tots. And don't forget to order yourself a shake. My favorite is the Flaked Chocolate & Bourbon shake. We found the service to be friendly, helpful, and attentive. And ordering is easy with their app! We love GBK....

I had a really nice meal here, the halal chicken burger for which they showed halal certification was really tasty. I had the fried cauliflower starter and chips which were super sides and their milkshake was top notch. The service was so good as well, really friendly and attentive staff. Only thing I would comment slightly negative on is the price, as a starter, burger and chips and milkshake came to just shy of £30 for one so it is fairly on the expensive side. But you definitely get the quality delivered so if you have the means then worth the money for sure.
First time at GBK after hearing positive things from a few friends. And I must say they didn't disappoint. Although authentically the food does leave you wanting a but more, flavour wise the meal was very good. But as good as the food was the customer service was excellent, none more so than the delightful manager "ola" who was thoughtful and very helpful especially when offering suggestions and helping us find alternatives on the menu for halal options. Will return for sure!
Food was great, service was excellent, lovely atmosphere. Chicken was a little flavourless, but it was more than made up for by the sauces and flavour in the breading. Servers all had great banter which was amazing, and took allergies very seriously. Atmosphere was welcoming and we were comfortable chatting to other patrons as well. Had three burgers with fries, chicken tenders, two orders of onion rings, and drinks. Came to about £22 each.
Haven’t reviewed anywhere in a while and what a great place to get back into Google Maps reviews. Paid £27 for 2 burgers + 2 fries + pint + half pint of San Miguel. Good deal, central oxford. Must give a shout-out to our waiter who was top class. Great customer service and attentive. Fast service, clean tables and yummy food. I must say the skinny fries are great, don’t find fries like these. Would recommend and will be back. Thank you GBK
Very delicious burgers and they are worth the price you pay. From beef to chicken burgers or a mixture of both. You can fully customise your burger to your taste. Highly recommend and try the milkshakes too .
The ultimate burger champion in Oxford - GBK never disappoints. From their sides, try the truffle cheese fried, the onion rings, or truffle cheese tater tots - the menu has been largely expanded in the past month so be sure to keep your eyes out for new starters options. I usually go for their beef burgers not a fan of chicken burgers personally, but that’s not to say theirs are bad and would especially recommend: The Blue Cheese, The RocketMan and the Mighty. The Mighty features two burger patties so it’s a good choice if you’re feeling extra hungry and in need of protein, but in normal conditions I always find it to be a bit too much. Recently I’ve also tried their Loaded burger - it was delicious, though I found the addition of extra beef with BBQ sauce a bit unusual. If you are eating in it really pays off to get their Fizz drink which is refillable while you’re there and a very refreshing addition to the meal. Best one is the Strawberry Elderflower, though the classic Lemonade is not bad too do not make the mistake of going for the Vanilla Passion Fruit, it tastes very artificial. Between eating in and take away I would always go for eating in - when getting the food for takeout somehow the bottom burger bun always becomes overly soggy from all the juices and while some people like this I frankly find it disgusting. Be sure to make use of their student discount or the limited offer Twice as Nice deal 2 burgers and 2 fries for £20! The staff is delightful over the phone and in person, special shoutout to Deborah from the George Street store who always takes extra care with the orders Overall a great place for the classic burger and fries meal, definitely among the top in Oxford, and you can get a big meal for a good price if you do the student discount.
