Here at Toby Carvery Lower Earley, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly.

Story

When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Reading's favourite carvery restaurant.

Great place and good foods. The only thing is we have been waiting for 30 mins, the chef didn't let the waitress know, our food is ready. Until we have to go to the carvery counter, ask for it. The server is very friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the food.
We went for a festive birthday meal and had their special Christmas roast. We were served by Hannah and she was absolutely delightful. Very filling food and we shared a Christmas pudding. Would recommend for a hearty meal with a great family friendly atmosphere.
We walked in today without a booked table, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We was taken to our table and was asked what we would like to drink and was informed to go up to the carvery when ready to get our food. The food was amazing and very good for the price. Our waitress Jenny L was very friendly, helpful and very professional. Myself and my husband go to Toby carvery now and then but when we do it’s a very good place to be friendly staff and all round professional and they give a very warm welcoming we look forward forward to seeing you all next time
This place has become a bit of a regular for us. After travelling around all day and not wanting to cook we pop in here for a good hearty meal. Food is great and Hannah the waitress is always super friendly and really helpful.
My family went for my mothers 80th. They were so attentive and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing. Lauren was our server and she was amazing. There were 9 off us. She handled all of us with ease. Cant praise her enough.
