The McDonald's at The Square, Chalfont Way, Lower Earley, Reading commendable for its excellent service and cleanliness. All kiosks are functional and print receipts efficiently. Chairs and tables are clean and undamaged.nnThe ordered food is served accurately, with fresh, well-cooked fries and a tasty burger. The staff actively maintains cleanliness, promptly clearing tables as soon as customers leave. Restrooms are clean and well-maintained.nnParking is adequately marked, with regularly emptied trash bins, though better lighting would be beneficial. Overall, this McDonald's location deserves high praise for its quality and service.nWell done.
The ice machine is never working. But what that means is, you can actually see the amount of drink you have been given. A small drink should contain 250mm of liquid. A medium drink should contain 400mm of liquid. Both of our drinks contained significantly less than these amounts. This is basically theft, not giving us the full amount of drink we have paid for.
The most frustrating McDonalds! Missed off items from my order this evening! An entire meal but sealed the bag like it was in there. More focused on Delivery drivers and people going through the drive through and clearly didn’t focus on this order. This branch needs massive improvements more communication to keep up with demand! Waiting times was 45 minutes and the tv screen with orders was not working with the preparing orders. Thanks for taking my money and not giving me what I wanted! Also aside from missing the double quarter pounder off my order this is the state of the wrap you gave me! Another load of rubbish!!
Don't get food from this place, especially when ordering from Uber eats.. the workers don't know how to read seeing as they always send wrong items or don't make the requested amendments, they don't know how to count because they never put in the correct amount of items ordered and to be quite honest, I'm surprised that they are all still walking considering that they probably forget to breathe frequently enough to get enough oxygen to their utterly underused brains.nnHonestly, even the dine in experience is lackluster. It's dull, dreary and full of staff that don't understand the concept of profit made from customers gets somewhat distributed back into their pockets at the end of the month.nnOh, and don't ever bother calling them. I don't think any of them what a telephone is.
Truly terrible place. Ordered two burgers yesterday alongside a couple of other things. When I got home, opened the burgers and both were missing patties, unbelievable. So paid over £10 for two buns with a bit of salad in. I get that mistakes happen but missing patties from two burgers is beyond a joke. Have contacted McDonald’s who have offered me one free medium meal in compensation which doesn’t even cover the cost of the two burgers. Avoid this McDonald’s like the plague, I certainly won’t be going back
