Could do better! A nice enough pub. Good prices for lunch items. I had a burger and asked to swap the fries for fat chips, which wasn't a problem. The burger looked a bit sad in its bun with only a few bits of soggy lettuce for company but the BBQ sauce on the side helped and it was tasty. The cheese burger was also a sad sight but alright for less than £6.50. My order came with the skinny fries. When I queried it the harassed-looking waiter brought me a side of fat chips so I had 2 portions, so that was good (but I didn't eat both!).

Really poor food, ordered the beef rib and pulled pork. Pulled pork and the slaw was probably a dessert spoon of each, Beef was average, chips cleverly placed in paper in a pot to make it look like there was more than 10! £17 main course probably work £8-£10 tops. Staff didn’t even ask how the food was as it was obvious by looking at it. Girlfriend had dry aged onion rings and what looked like frozen calamari from Iceland. Disappointed will not return.

Fantastic Ole English Pub right on the stream with great food and great beers. Staff always friendly. Great outside area, perfect for those English summers, and dog friendly both inside (only part of the bar) and out. Currently my local :)

Love this place! Such a nice little pub on the river and very convenient for dinner before going to showcase. The food is amazing and the menu full of tempting delights. Highly recommend!

Roast beef cold. Roast potatoes rubbery had been cooked the day before and warmed up could not eat them the Yorkshire was more like a rubbery pancake. Bruce.
