Here at Toby Carvery Aigburth, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly.

Story

When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Liverpool's favourite carvery restaurant.

Although the food tastes good and the staff were friendly, my dinner was served up with the finess of a dinner lady serving at wormwood scrubs. Splashed onto the plate. All the food was piled up on top the rest of the food.
Totally enjoyable from start to finish. I was a bit worried about going to a public place and left my mother at home due to covid and her being vulnerable. I can honestly say I felt so safe everyone was sticking to rules. I will definitely be returning and bringing my mum soon. The food was amazing and I was made to feel so welcome..
Fantastic. Gorgeous place. Very pleasant surroundings and great staff, nothing is too much trouble definitely will go again.
Wasnt the worst but could have been better. Nothing to do with the staff they seemed to be short and was running around everywhere. Beer was sent back it tasted like it still had cleaning fluid in but happily replaced by another from another tap. Carvery didn't have a good selection of veggies not even broccoli.
A lovely roast dinner. Was not happy that my plate had been in touch with 3 different peoples hands before mine. Did not see the point.

We had to social distance, but, that was no problem. Everything was clean, the food was good. At the carvery the chef served all the food due to the virus situation, but, that was alright. We will be going back again soon.

Visited just before lockdown 2.0. Lovely staff with attention to detail over their new cleaning policies to ensure it is covid safe. Looking forward to when they reopen.
