Doesn't look much from the outside, but certainly don't let that put you off. Great service, lovely friendly staff and breakfast was lovely too. Even though it is above a pub, we stayed on a Saturday night and heard no commotion or noise from the pub. If you were using it as a base for a few days, then I'd recommend it. Everything was clean and well presented. Overall definitely worth a look.
Kevin was so friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. They really treat you like family here. Room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast they provide is excellent. If I’m ever in Liverpool in the future, I will definitely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Nice local place, only a few minutes from the City Centre £5 in a taxi. Its the same to Anfield Stadium. Rooms are clean, breakfast was great. Better off calling and booking directly as it is cheaper, I was talking to Kevin who is the owner and he gave us a great discount. Will be back again! hopefully soon :
Cost was far too high for such a low end accommodation, rooms were clean, but if you like a communal bathroom, at the end of the hallway that's great too..lol Personally I'm used to my own shower and bathroom, but the upside is the staff were very friendly, good for a chat and laugh, we arrived late, and left really early, and was good to have a few drinks in the bar before hitting the sack so to say. I will say thankyou, to you and all the staff we saw there.
Stayed here for 2 nights for the grand national weekend. I knew it was a fab place to stay as I've stayed here about 10 years ago. Still fab and excellent customer service the owner Kevin couldn't do enough for you. Rooms are lovely and cosy and very clean. Lovely little touches like free bottles of water and cans of cola too. Only about £4 into town for a taxi. Nice little retail park close by with Sainsbury's subway b&m and Greggs. Would definately stay here again
absolutely first class three of us stayed in hotel to go to match Liverpool versus Southampton u would be fooled.by outside but inside very good spotless, well painted and owners and staff could not do enough for u. bar could do with a few stools and little update .breakfast makes a great start to day.
Arrived early evening reception stunk of cigarette smoke. Hotel is tired and dated although room was clean. Shower was a squeeze, breakfast standard. Our room was so hot after turning radiator down and having to sleep window open then bring exposed to traffic noise hotel is on a very busy road. Hotel offers parking which is the church next door but on arrival we you d it locked. It is a budget hotel and to be honest I was not going to write a review but on check out we mentioned the problem with the room bring so hot the person on reception was defensive and dident listen to what I was trying to explain more concerned about taking our money. I work in hotel myself would not treat my customers as he did.
no car park, had to park at the petrol station were you get charged a few quid for the night. Hotel not easiest to find. Reception is nice then you go to you rooms first was a colleagues room on the first floor. Twin room very dated and no bathroom. The bathroom was at the other end of the hall. My room on the second floor was a triple. Big room very dated aswell but with ensuite. Single pain glass window which over looked the dual carriageway so very noisey. Two window one with a blind one with a curtain. Owner was very nice he also owns the pub next door which was a good laugh with some rather drunk locals. Good English breakfast in the morning in the hotel "restaurant" which was actually the back of the pub next door. Entertaining stay for one night would not want to do it again. P.S they had just started refurbing some of the rooms which could only be a good thing.
Getting sold so no draft accept coors all cans, hardly any ice or coke, shop over road i go. Kings throan out of service, one urinal for men. Well its a wreck as its geting sold.Rooms: 1/5
Literally a dump. Misleading photos might give you the impression that the area is a nice victorian quarter.. Nothing could be further from the truth. Its a dire squalid part of the city frequented by drug dealers and ner do wells. look it up on google street view... you will see what I mean. Its owned by pirates who will skin you for the price of a good hotel elsewhere.. There are loads of chain hotels in Liverpool right in the city centre, not miles out like this abomination. There is NO CAR PARK despite the owner saying there is.. He mans you to park outside some council houses around the corner. You have been warned. It a S*thole
