Nice pub. Lots of space and friendly staff. Portions were gracious and everything tasted great. I had the tomato basil soup to start and grilled haddock as a main. I traded out the potato for extra salad. Done with no hesitation.
An excellent pub with big, great value plates. We visited recently as a convenient stop off on the way to a holiday, and got a warm welcome and some delicious food. Portions are big - I had the gammon steak with chips and two eggs, while my friend had the rock eel & chips. Both were great value, and we'll cooked. If I lived nearby I'd be here all the time

Delightful place for a catch up with friends. Attentive staff and a suberb selection of food. So loved the Creme Brulee! Will definitely be visiting again.
Lovely pub with extensive seating inside and out. Easy to find off the main roads but in a quieter area so ideal for a relaxed lunch, dinner or drinks. Typical pub menu with good portions and friendly attentive service that isn't overpowering. Lunch menu for lighter options available, all reasonably priced. Toilets clean and nicely decorated. Would recommend and will book again for lunch or dinner for relaxed couple catch up or family events.
What a wonderful place this is. A beautiful garden with plenty of seating and room for social distancing AND a small play area to keep little ones happy. The food was delicious, served by friendly and competent staff. The Sunday roast, complete with a variety of vegetables was awesome. Being a vege I opted for Stilton and Mushroom pie, which was cooked to perfection, the pastry was so light and melted in your mouth. Our first visit, but we will definitely be going again.

Lovely food and reasonably priced, given the times. The service was great and the servers were very accommodating. We never felt rushed. A very pleasant experience indeed. The location is in a lovely quite setting. Even saw horses being walked by. Would definitely recommend.
