This was 1st time at The Nags Head, first impression was fantastic, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Really went beyond to help my wife with a lot of food allergies which is very hard to go out theses days. We are talking 8 Ingredients here. Starter was nice from buffalo wings, squid, chicken gojons. 8oz Steak was beautiful cooked medium raw and steak ale pie was lovely maybe a dash of more Ale, sea bass was definitely the favourite. Beer batted Fish N chips was great The kids fish N Chip was perfect. The chocolate brownies was lovely and sticky toffee pudding. Was lovely Keep up the good work. Will be coming back. Thank you.
Great service, friendly and helpful. They didn't have what I originally wanted the plant based burger, the only other veggie option wasn't for me. Had the fish and chips instead. Very tasty. Clean toilets
Had a great meal this afternoon with my mum. We both had the 8oz sirloin steak which were both perfectly cooked to our preferences. Ro was our waitress and was very attentive and patient as we took some time to decide what we wanted to order! Thanks Ro!
A very tasty meal of Fish and chips at the Nags head. Crispy batter and crunchy chips. Good choices on the menu including Sunday lunch specials. Plenty of parking in their own car park. Another fabulous meal at the nags head, prices are still very good.
What a fantastic venue! The burgers are great, actual venue fantastically attractive and staff very efficient and attentive. They even do steak perfectly!
Absolutely loved the place. Inside was roomy and also had lot of tables outside to enjoy the outside breeze. Really comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. Bartenders were caring and friendly and had lot of recommendations for us and just did their best to make sure our group enjoyed our visit. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in town!

Booked a large table for a family event in advance as none of us are local to the area. Beautiful beer garden with play area and bouncy castle for the children. Excellent service very accommodating and organised. Food was delicious and lots of choice of drinks all at good prices. Will definitely return and make it our usual stop in Bishops Stortford
Went here for an evening meal. Didn't need to reserve a table. The service was really friendly and Ro was really helpful with her recommendation. The staff were friendly and have a great feel of a "family" team. The portions of food were good and excellent value for money. Definitely worth a revisit soon.
We always have such an amazing time here. The staff are warm and welcoming. The food is consistently good. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone - whether they want a delicious Sunday meal or a quiet afternoon drink.
