We popped in for lunch on Saturday and it’s a brilliant place to visit. The food was delicious, there was a good atmosphere, the staff are very attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely visit when we are back in the area again

Very homely feel to the pub,friendly and helpful service and great traditional pub grub. The home made steak and Ale Pie was  gorgeous !! Will be back again.

Lovely little dog friendly stop on our walk. Only stayed for drinks, which were fine, and staff were absolutely lovely.

Good food and plenty of it. Standard pub grub. The children’s meals were good but not many options, especially as the pizza were off the menu. Set in a beautiful looking village. Nice outside area to sit on when the weather is good.

Lovely pub in a fantastic location with excellent food and friendly staff.  We stopped by chance and stayed for lunch. Lots of out door seating with lovely views and plenty of space for indoor dining too. Well worth seeking out.

We were doing a wonderful circular walk from Leyburn, along the limestone crags of The Shawl, and back across country via Wensley. We stopped at the Three Horse Shoes for refreshment. A chilled orange juice and hot coffee was just right for two weary walkers. We just missed food service for the afternoon, but the view from the hostelry terrace across the valley was lovely. Large car park, great service and a nice looking menu means we shall return...

Thanks for accommodating 3 adults, 3 children and our pooch at short notice for an early evening meal. The food was delicious, the surroundings were  homely and the staff are lovely. We were all made to feel very welcome.

Lovely outside area to sit when weather good. Also sell meals at reasonable prices.

Great food, friendly efficient staff, lovely atmosphere, very good value for money, definitely worth a visit if your in this area.
