Great outdoor space, good variety of indoor seating either away from or in view of TV screens, value for money menu and friendly staff. A great place to meet friends for a meal or just a catch up over a drink.
Visited the Rose and Crown to day with 6 family members for a birthday treat. Mixture of main courses. Very friendly and obliging staff nothing was too much trouble. Very relaxing atmosphere and the food was very well presented and cooked to perfection, 7 clean plates. Well done Rose and Crown be back next week. A most enjoyable experience.,
Basic food, good service. But my steak was really chewy and tough, I should have sent it back really but didn't want the fuss. I think it depends what you choose as everyone else's wraps and sandwiches were lovely apparently.
Wonderful food, wonderful drinks and wonderful staff. A really clean and pleasant place to eat - both indoors and outdoors. I've been going here for many years with my friends and always had a good experience. The current management is brilliant. Very friendly, talkative and attentive staff, good value for money with food and drinks and good veggie options. Its a lovely friendly vibe as a family pub with a great outdoor area for kids, the pool table is great, I know they do quizzes and sports. Its a pub for everyone which I think is what a pub should be.
A nice warm and welcoming pub. Only stopped for a drink, but there was a good selection of local beers and ciders Wye Valley and Weston's . Reasonable prices. Would go back.
Great food for the price and well presented. Staff did over charge us a meal at the till but quickly refunded this once pointed out.
Such a lovely place. The food is absolutely beautiful and the staff are really friendly and lovely. Couldn’t complain about anything it was absolute perfection. Thank you and will definitely be coming again
Can’t fault it! Brilliant behind the bar, especially Matt and Jaz whenever I pop in. Chef Josh even went above and beyond and cooked food for my group on the table when it was shutting down. Thankyou
Nice atmosphere, lovely food but I wish they’d sort the wifi out. Not the first time it’s been mentioned
Very friendly. Played the rugby for us but double checked with others as well. Fair pricing for good drink. Busy with a nice easy going crowd but not so crowded you can’t find a seat. Easy to park as well. Thank you
