Popped in here for a coffee. Nice surroundings inside and plenty of seating out side. Which was nice and sunny when we went. Plus got our coffee brought to us Staff friendly as well
We called in to the Thornton Arms and was lucky for us it was quiet. We had one little dog with us,and were very pleased it was dog friendly. Menu was adequate for what we were wanting ,and I had a very nice and very adequate Prawn cocktail ,which was realy lovely and had plenty of prawns in it. For me it was ideal as my main course as I dont have a big appetite,and it was a realy good size all very fresh and tasty. Others in the group all enjoyed what they had too and would certainly recommend this pub as worth trying.Service with a smile too thankyou.
Called for an 80th and had a lovely chat with staff. Warm and welcoming and every local seemed the same. Bar position has changed but seems more room for it.
Sunday afternoon held my 80th birthday party here at The Thornton What a great day. The Buffet was out of this world a lot of good comments from the guests. Jamie and Lauren were brilliant - proper hosts. The service from all the Staff was excellent - special thanks to Nicky and Sophie. A special mention to Jim and Emma who provided a fantastic Karaoke. Thanks to all who attended and for the pressies Mick Triggs
Nice pub. Lovely food. Very friendly staff. Will be visiting again.
