Nice place, foods nice, staff are polite. Also booked there for my daughters 7th Birthday, her & her friends had a great time in the play area & really loved the food the drinks, the facepainting & the party activities the very lovely enthusiastic young lady did with them, literally everyone had a great time & my daughter was overwhelmed with happiness saying it was the best birthday party ever, I can't post pics of the party area because it's got all the children in those pics but I highly recommend.
Clear signage to the carpark with lots of spaces, friendly and super quick check in at reception, big, clean, comfy rooms. Nipped in next door to the Brewers Fayre for a bite to eat. Went with the rump steak and it melted in my mouth. Poor lighting and the pic doesn't do it enough justice. All the bar staff extremely easy on the eye and genuinely friendly, Nicole was a star. What's not to like.
Cozy atmosphere Family friendly Delicios food Vegetarian options: Some good vegetarian options on the menu Kid-friendliness: Lots of children around Parking: Lots of free parking. Make sure you register your number plate though.
We visit quite often and have had good and bad experiences, with the food. The food is generally good and it's a varied menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is free just don't forget to put your car registration in the machine inside the entrance or at the till. The cost of the brew is a bit expensive really but its free refills so good value for those who can manage more than one cup. It must be OK or we wouldn't keep going back.
Absolutely lovely food, great service, unbeatable value for money. We eat here regularly at lunchtime, and take advantage of two mains for £9.85. Despite the price the food is incredible. Always hot, plenty of choice and served in good time. Thoroughly recommended on all fronts. Vegetarian options: Not a veggie so not sure. Kid-friendliness: Lots for kids to do with play area. Parking: Free parking, register on entry
I went to queen Vic on Sunday with 9 of my family members. We enjoyed our food, enjoyed every thing about our visit. Kids loved they christmas themed food. And playing in the kids area obviously. Staff are lovely so friendly esp guy on bar and lady manager that were working Sunday.Food: 5/5
Prices were wrong at the till which needed correction. Had to wait to be served as staff wandered around. 6 people ordered the large carvery the first 3 got the large plate and all 3 meats, the rest were given standard size plates and told there was a 90 minute wait for gammon. The meats had been under a heat lamp for so long they had almost completely dried out. The only positive was the kids area was open. Worst brewers fayre I've been to. Kid-friendliness: Small soft-play area for small children Parking: Register your car on arrival or be fined!
Had the burger and was a tasty juicy burger! Had the mixed starter and was fine... Staff were pleasant
Chicken wings:They were only just cooked, not crispy as was requested. Chicken dinner: the chicken was tough to chew, cabbage and peas together were cold and hard. The only decent thing on either plate were the carrots. When we complained to a manager she said she would gave a word with her chef, then disappeared. No sorry, no offer of a free dessert or a discount on what we paid. Shoddy customer service and a loss of 2 fairly regular customers
Staff helpful and polite. Had to wait 55mins for a "sirloin wellington" of the Xmas menu, when it came a third of the steak was full of gristle and inedible. Cheap food, expensive drink, I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon.
