Lush meals, easy ordering on the app, or can go to the bar and order. Food came out hot, drinks nice and cold and deserts to die for. Great for families too, wacky wearhouse for the kids. Adults only area too. Reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Definitely recommend!
Could be nice place, but poor drinks served in plastic pots . And in front of restaurant was ice. At least they could tell us to bring ice skate rollers so i could approach to the car more smoothly. I think we were there for last time.
When I first lived in Burnley it was a great place. I have to say the carvery wasn't fantastic. The meat portion was ok the potatoes good the veg was awful plus everything was not hot. I like a meal served hot thus wasn't the case here. The sprouts had a very strange taste and I love sprouts. The gravy was hot
Sausages were over cooked and like cardboard inside and the gammon was smelling off and looked it and tasted it too! Usually eat there often but won't do in future, totally disappointed with it today, manager insisted that the gammon was ok but I could smell it and I tasted it was off. To be fair the manager offered me 2 free meals and 2 free drinks for me and my son but I refused because its not about the money and getting freebies, it was about the food not being right!
Food and service was good. Vast choice of drinks. Play area/claw machines for entertainment. Reasonable pricing. Whilst not connected to The Star, make sure you park your car correctly and watch the clock, fine is £100. When we visited machine was broken initially but went out to check again a few hours later and the other was then working, bought a ticket, but still been fined, we are contesting it but something to be mindful of.
I didn't know this was a carvery now - been a couple times before and seemed a little dated but visited recently and it must have had a revamp. Carvery was beautiful and served sprouts! Not many places do until Christmas time. Lovely food, great prices and staff very friendly. Play gym is still attached so a good place to take the littles too.
Always great experience when go out for food.. Service is good staff are polite and helpful.. Even try they hardest to resolve issues when really busy dealing with other jobs or customers happy with service received.. Like our second home there every other day or every week hahah
Ordered using the App. 3 starters, 2 Mains, and 2 drinks. Starters ordered AS STARTERS NOT MAINS. Drinks were brought and we were asked if we wanted the starters as starters or with our mains. Politely replied yes, but why make us choose if they are only going to ask anyway? Starters arrive. Less the 5 minutes later and not even half way through them we are asked if we are ready for our mains. Again politely, we say no. Less than two minutes later they brought the mains out anyway! Still only halfway through our starters. The lad was understandably surprised he'd been sent out with them, especially when we said we had only just said we weren't ready. He offered to take them back, but rather than risk them being dried out or burnt we accepted them and rushed the remaining starters. Annoying, but not a major issue. Maybe worthy of 3 stars. Well, would have been had the mains been cooked properly. Gammon was badly undercooked and frankly unappertising! Instead of trying to rush customers out, concentrate on cooking properly. Hence 1 star.
The carvery was excellent, the play area for children is absolutely fantastic, the place itself is very lovely the decor is lovely too I would certainly recommend this place.
Absolutely terrible reheated garlic mushrooms chips and undercooked onion rings not to mention a fake nail found in my partner's meal. To top everything the head chef found the lack of food hygiene and potential choking hazard funny, avoid this cess pit.
