My son recently knocked out his front tooth at school. The practice have been fantastic in providing compassionate and professional care. Dr Zaheer and Veronica make an amazing team, they took the time to explain to my son who was quite nervous everything they were doing and why they were doing it which helped to put him at ease. They both took so much time & care in what they were doing - it was amazing to watch. I am very grateful to them and my son is very happy with his ‘new’ tooth. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you so much to all the team.
I've had quite a few issues with my teeth and have finally found a dental clinic who can truly help me and seems very genuine. Other dentists have told me my case is too hard or they can help but don't seem too sure about it. I am glad I stumbled upon this place!! The dental team have been exceptional, definitely recommend this place to others!
I have been with this Dentist surgery as an NHS patient for 10+years. I have also paid Private fees for emergency appointment and Treatment when no NHS available. You cannot fault the team, whether your being seen on the NHS or you go private, you are always treated with the utmost respect, everyone makes you feel at ease. Everyone is approachable, and everything is explained from start to finish. The ladies on reception are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. Im very happy to be under the care of the Dentists here and so are my teeth!!

Dreadful. WARNING CHECK YOUR BILL We have been under this practice for number of years going back to when was called hospital lane. Had some fantastic dentist but they never stay. Last time my wife paid private then got fine from NHS as they claimed her bridge NHS so tried to claim twice. Had two appointments booked today my wife was unable to go so my daughter come to save wasting appointment they said she had to pay private but we had already paid The manager is rude and sarcastic In the end we cancelled both appointments took the refund and found new dentist down the road This dentist needs too be watched
I am a very nervous patient but I am made to feel very at ease. Everything is explained to me so I know what is happening, it has changed my fear of the dentist
I have been at this practice for 28 years now. I have always been made to feel relaxed and treated with respect. The staff are all wonderful caring and polite.
Just had my first time at this practice and I am so glad I booked with them. The process was efficient and very clean and safe. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the dentist was great, particularly with my daughter experiencing her first proper trip to the dentist. Highly recommend.
What a lovely dentist. Got an urgent appointment for my son for the same day which seems impossible anywhere. Appointment finished and the lovely dentist asked if he would like a sticker, he wanted Spider-Man but they had run out. Embarrassingly my son got upset. They then went around the office trying to find a Spider-Man sticker, which they didn't find but promised him that they would save a Spider-Man sticker for his next visit. Soon after we left they called to say they found one if we want to go back, which we couldn't do. A few days later in the post an envelope with a Spider-Man sticker in it. What a lovely lovely thought, going over and above and a very happy boy. Thank you!
Absolutely awful experience today. My mum, sister and I have been with Thorndike for 10+ years. My fixed retainer meant to last a lifetime was broken by them during my hygienist appointment and repaired. However, it quickly broke again due to it being weaker from their fault and the open wire made my tongue bleed. Today they cut the wire to help but left my teeth without the protection of the fixed retainer. Therefore, my teeth could move and go wonky. Realising what they had done, they said that it would cost £60 for about repair or £150 for a new retainer! Baring in mind the repair did not last, that was not an option. And they broke the wire in the first place!!! How is it my responsibility to replace it when it was their damage? I called to ask for an appointment to get it replaced without charge, but the receptionist expected me to pay for the appointment over the telephone. I asked her to go back to the manager and tell her my situation. She called me back 3 times within and hour with excuses. Finally she called saying it would cost £150 and I said I was not comfortable with this. I said I would come in at 4:45pm on the same day when they had a slot to see the orthodontist, but she would speak to the manager and get back to me about cost. Well, of course she never did and I am not shocked. I called and said I was “on my way” but she told me my appointment was now gone….. and after leaving work early to deal with THEIR ISSUE! At this point, I was still coming in for an appointment I was going to have to pay for so that my teeth would not go wonky. Annoyed, I said, I expect it to be done, but the receptionist rudely did not reply to this comment. I finally explained that they would not see me nor my family again after 10 years of being loyal customer, due to the disgraceful service I’d received. At this point I expect some sympathy, but in fact, the receptionist replied with “good” and I hung up. Not “I’m sorry to hear this, but good”. I am astonished. THEY ARE SO INTERESTED IN MONEY AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not even to honour me a new wire at their cost due to THEIR breakage. A joke! I’m not asking for a free wire for the fun of it.
