My wife had an accident at work in January 2016 and because she is a Union member she was allocated Thompson's Solicitors. They are the most unprofessional Solicitors to deal with. My wife's case is being dealt with by a third Solicitor after the previous two left the company. . Their communication is abysmal, responses are a joke. My wife was told on the 26th January 2018 in an email that a letter would be sent out to her to confirm the outcome of her case on the following Monday which was 29th Jan., she didn't receive this letter so emailed them again but surprise surprise got no response. She phoned them on 5th of February only to be told her Solicitor has been on holiday this past two weeks but would be back on the 6th Jan. so she started her holiday on the 29th Jan when she was to send the letter, surely she could have posted the letter before going on holiday and kept her word. The case has been going on for over two years and still no closure. My wife phoned at 10.24 today 6/2/18 to speak to her Solicitor but was told she was busy & would phone her in the afternoon when she got back from her lunch around 1pm. 16.59 the Solicitor phoned to say the letter will be posted today by 2nd class post just unbelievable service.

 Would not ever recommend.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! They have had my case for 3+ years, although the company I am suing has accepted liability 3 years ago this case is still not resolved after 3+ years because of Thompson . Avoid this company at all cost. Never again, wish I had looked at the reviews before I started

I would not rate not even one star for this company.
I started a process with an injury at work in Nov2016 and not even one step forward,today,Nov2017.
They don't answer at the phone,emails and so on...Looks like a lie and a cheap theatre.
I would never recommend them,look for another company!

Thompsons are extremely difficult to deal with. Their communication is poor, responses are nearly none existent. They have an extremely high turn over of Staff and as a result you never really know who is dealing with your claim. The only reason I used Thompsons is because of being a part of Unite the Union. Would not ever recommend.

Very poor service. I have paid through professional subscriptions and no support from Thompsons. Cant help but wonder if it would have been different if I was paying personally. They were very unsupportive. I wont rely on them again that's for sure.
