Recently moved to Bexhill & as I have a good friend who is a jeweller liked the look of this shop. I took in a 1959 silver plated tankard which was my late fathers in a sorry state & asked if it could be bought back to its original glory. They guy told me he could try but couldn't guarantee due to the age & condition. Picked the tankard up today with an open mind, well to say i was gobsmacked was an understatement, it was highly polished back to its original condition. Even more unbelievable was the fact that when I asked how much the cost was I was told please have it on me. I offered cash payment & was told please put your money away. There are not many old school jewellers left around today but I can honestly say Thomas French is definitely one of them, thank you again.

Mistake giving the 5 stars meant to put zero, under no circumstances whatsoever, take any items you wish to sell to this shop, a total rip of merchant. After his quote in total £1.725, I went to another respectable jeweller, in Sackfield Road over £4.000.

Friendly, efficient service. Suprising low cost fro replacement watch battery compared to others in the area.

I took my 25 year old Seiko kinetic watch to Thomas French in Bexhill to be repaired as it was not holding the charge .After 4 weeks I received the quote for £315 which was twice the price I had paid for it so I declined the quote stating that was too expensive. as I was in Hastings the next day I took the watch in to F.Hinds the jeweller who charged me £69.95 and I picked it up in 2 weeks. The motto of this review= never trust the French!

Kind & honest jewellers in Bexhill-On-Sea, who were so helpful in assisting us in fixing a treasured 4 band puzzle ring purchased from here some time ago, which we had almost given up hope on! They were able to fix it in store with no charge. Professional service and a stunning collection of jewellery and watches here too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I cannot speak highly enough of Thomas French Jewellers. The customer service alone, shines as bright as the finishes of the watches they stock. A special mention to Shanice for such a wealth of knowledge, genuine service and attitude to help. I will definitely be returning and spreading the name. Thank you again.

Had my clock repaired and was delighted - the second time I have entrusted them with a timepiece and on each occasion it has been a pleasure to do business with them.  They are courteous, knowledgeable and provide a first class service.  The range of fine jewellery in the shop is beautifully displayed and very tempting.  Unhesitatingly recommended.  Had to return the clock - not the fault of French's - they were unfailingly courteous and helpful despite having had a busy Christmas trading day. Was offered a cup of tea and mice pie and biscuits - gratefully received. As usual found all exceeded expectations - I will unhesitatingly continue to recommend them - a quality jeweller with exceptional levels of service and great customer service skills - something sadly lacking in today`s marketplace

We visited Thomas French Jewellers of Bexhill in the vain hope that they might be able to polish our rather tarnished and elaborate candelabra!  Amazingly, Stuart produced immaculate results in just a couple of hours! We have learned our lesson not to leave the candelabra on the grand piano all the time - in future it will only be placed on the piano during performances and when we have swanky guests!  We have now bought a large anti-tarnish silverware bag and polishing cloths just in case!  We have used Thomas French Jewellers for valuations and probate over many years and found them to be most professional and accurate. Staff were so knowledgable and helpful with my recent watch purchase.  Have since had repairs on family heirlooms and the team have gone out of their way to let me know exactly what they were doing and how much it would cost.  I'm now a customer for life and cannot recommend highly enough!

Open since the 1950's, I've been a regular customer of Thos French for the past 30 years. I've bought luxury watches, Stirling silver gifts, and fine jewels, including diamonds, sapphires, and emeralds for my loved ones and have always been impressed with both their professionalism and care. Most recently I was searching for a custom sized 14ct gold chain to hold a precious and priceless medallion. I was extremely grateful for both their sourcing and creative advice which made my acquisition even more appreciated. I've also relied upon Thos French to assist with several horological needs - including the repair of an antique Tiffany & Co watch. If you're serious about quality and service I highly recommend Thomas French in Bexhill for all your fine jewellery needs.
