Absolutely love this place, we live in Essex but try to visit four times a year. The owner and his wife are lovely people and so helpful. My son started collecting stones, minerals and fossils a couple of years ago and we take a list of bits we are interested in, the owner always manages to find what we want, tucked away in a box. He is so knowledgable and explains where everything comes from and supplies labels for all the items. Can't wait for our next visit
My parents used to bring me here as a baby 30 years ago. I had my first ever ring made up here. Recently needed my most current ring re-set and re-shanked and was fortunate enough to catch these guys before they close down in a couple of months time. They did an amazing job - somehow making the ring I have worn every day for the last 18 years look brand new but feel like it always has done. I confidently look forward to another 18 years of wear. This shop will be missed. It was a big part of our family history, and from what I saw when I last visited, a big part of many others.
Absolutely adore the selection of gemstones this establishment has on offer. It's very hard to find good gem and mineral sellers these days and I believe this shop fits the bill perfectly.
Excellent shop for all your stone requirements, such a shame the shop will be closing in the new year!
