Wonderful shop! Sure you could get anything you want for sewing/knitting. Shame l live in Southampton - or not - otherwise think I would need more storage. Looking forward to my next visit -must knit faster.
I came here as a newbie to crochet, Claire was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, what this lady doesn't know! The customer service is fantastic, the rage of yarn stocked is brilliant I would rather buy here than online because you can see the colours better. Love this shop

Exactly the same as I remember 30 years ago when going with my mum. Not the same owners but they are really lovely, helped my mum find patterns, showed her some extra steps and was exceptionally helpful. I also noted that people were coming in just for advice without buying anything and they were so happy to help. What an example of customer service. Some of these big companies should tale a leaf out of these guys book. With few knitting shops around and everything being brought on amazon/Ebay it's nice to find a shop that is cheaper than both of the above. There something to be said about the personal hands on approach. Well done, keep up the good work :
Claire is a wonderful bundle of help and enthusiasm for all ages and stages of crafty, sewy, knitty people! Mum and I love this shop and we have always been made to feel very welcome!
This is a fabulous wool shop, an Aladdin's cave of yarn and crafty goodies. Always worth a visit with excellent service and advice as standard. Make sure you take a big bag though, too many squishy goodies to resist!
This shop in Cowplain is the best shop ever if you need advice or help with any home craft. I don't know of any other shop where the proprietor lovely Claire has always got time for the customers. Where would we be without this gem of a handicraft/haberdashery shop. If you need a zip, cotton, fabric or advice on wool etc. this is the place to visit. It may be small in size but not in heart!
