This was my second visit to 'Thinking Outside the Box' and even more enjoyable than last time - and that's a tough ask! We escaped from Merlin's Cave after an extremely enjoyable 55 minutes. A wonderfully immersive escape room which shows great thought. Fantastic interaction with Merlin added to the fun! Your visit though doesn't begin in the escape room, it starts from the moment you arrive with a puzzle or two to tackle first. Thank you, Jason, you are a wonderful host! Can't wait for the next visit. PS Wish there was an option for more than 5 stars!

Such a great way to spend an afternoon! 

We completed both rooms in a team of 2 and loved them both, the designs were immersive, the puzzles were challenging but still fun and everything was so well thought through.

There were fun puzzles in the waiting rooms and the staff are around to give extra clues should you need them.

We completed the rooms in our team of 2 but it would be a great experience to try out with a group of friends too!

We went as a group and as soon as we walked in the doors to get booked in the experience started. The staff were so welcoming and very passionate! We did the Merlin experience was one of a kind, so interactive, challenging and just overall amazingly fun! The staff helped to make it even more personalised by reading quotes from what was said in the room! Loved every minute. Highly recommend! Thanks guys!

Brilliant fun tonight!  Kind of a spontaneous decision made at Pizza Hut with friends.  Phoned up and we were lucky enough to be able to visit Merlin's Cave.  Fabulous set design!  Puzzles were fun and challenging and James, our host, was enthusiastic and welcoming.  We had a great time.   Thanks!

Superb escape rooms, brilliantly creative with many ideas and puzzles you won't have seen elsewhere. The team are enthusiastic and passionate about their rooms and it's evident in both the design of the rooms and their roles as gamemasters. They go the extra mile to provide the little touches that turn an escape room experience from great, to out of this world. Can't recommend them enough, our team has done plenty of escape rooms across England and this place is the best we've encountered
