Fantastic park, ideal for a stroll or a power walk, lovely views across the lakes and river, beautiful wildlife and wood carvings. Three great play areas for children of various ages. Two cafes, so can have a cuppa half way round. Beautiful shop, selling a variety of things. You can collect the duck food for a donation, great for the children. Well worth a visit.

A lovely park for a walk around, has massive rivers and wood carvings all around. Looked after well, however some of the paths were flooded, so make sure you have boots on. They have two cafes and toilets, a pet shop and kid play areas. You need to pay for parking, car park is pretty big as well.

Its a very nice place, been visiting years since I was a child. A problem for me are the bikers, have had a few run ins, one being on a mobile phone whilst biking and another speeding around the corner downhill and tried blaming me. Its very dangerous and a lot don't appreciate it's a place for children to play and people walking with their peers. A responsible adult or young person will teach children or their peers to watch out etc but they also don't need to be made to feel like they have to walk like a robot and are not able to step out in the wrong direction in case a biker was to appear from no where without giving plenty of warning, it needs to be appreciated that everybody and anybody might stop, change direction etc. Young or old.

Lots of walking and water birds. Very well kept, pram and wheelchair friendly. Good visitors centre and plenty of food and drink.
