Excellent place to visit for just a couple of drinks with my lady ca. 1.30pm for an hour or so, several times. Saw neighbouring table's food and felt jealous! Can't wait to try myself. Food looked and smelled great, the staff have always been as friendly as you could want. Highly recommended. Phil.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely staff and outstanding food! Would recommend to anyone. Added bonus that if you have a dog they are welcome in one side of the bar.

Very disappointed with my gammon and pineapple today. Lots of fat and grissel and trying to cut it with an ordinary knife Instead of a steak knife was almost impossible. We did get £2 pound reduction off bill Also the small piece of pineapple was very hard on the edges so all in all not good.

Outstanding! The best pub food I have ever eaten - better than many restaurants with flash reputations and higher prices. I had a starter of their homemade chicken liver pate which was just delicious and the bread was equally wonderful. For mains, melt in the mouth Ox cheek , so flavoursome I wanted it to go on and on. There were 8 of us and everyone's dishes received high praise. Absolutely nothing wrong with anything. Service was outstanding. Wanted to wrap the waitress up in the serviette and take her home.

A great traditional pub in a lovely village. There's a good sized carpark with a bit of a awkward entrance on the bend, and the entrance through the back is welcoming and unusual through the rotating door! Two main reception rooms offer a cozy atmosphere and the staff are friendly, the food is lovely and well priced. There's also a good choice of beers etc. I really recommend the liver and onions as a main course!
