Took grandson to see the show 'Happy birthday Peter Rabbit'.nThe tickets included looking around the exhibition area . Very enjoyable all the kids seemed to love it. The show was in the old laundry theatre. It was the best show I:be ever taken him too. Great humour and involved audience with songs and stuff.nThoroughly enjoyable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything ran like clockwork. Very professional and well worth the money! I would go as far to say I cannot imagine anyone of any age enjoying it. Grandson said the show made his holiday. Still talking about it days later.
Went here during COVID and just after but this is the first time we took our 2 year old and he loved the whole experience. He couldn't stop talking about it before we went and after it finished. Great interactive stuff inside, the shop was pricey but when you expect. But the tour was great value and the 2 year old went in for free. Will go again soon.
I don’t really follow all the books. To be honest I only know Peter rabbit story, but I still enjoyed the visit. It’s a quick 1 visit. There’s a small garden as well. If you enjoy seeing cute things, you’ll love it. The shop is good as well.
2 adults and a 4 years old. Booked the afternoon tea and visited the museum. Unfortunately, it was very expensive for what you got.nMuseum - On entering, we should have been given an activity book, which we only discovered once you were through after the short film - you can not go back and no staff around to ask. So as much as it was a very pretty walk through as you will see from the pictures this did not take us an hour - this is the time you are advised to leave before the peter rabbit afternoon tea. This took us 20 minutes even with it being quite busy - very tight spaces to walk past anyone.nGift shop again is lovely and with every gift shop very expensive.nYou walk across the road to the afternoon tea with Peter Rabbit - who only stayed for 10 minutes for a photo opportunity. Small gift on table nice touch small peter rabbit plush - so dont do what i done and buy a peter rabbit plush from the gift shop.nnThen Beatrix Potter comes to read you a story which was funny as she interacted with the tables but again didn't last 10 minutes before she was away and doesn't come back and you watch a screen with a peter rabbit story. Eat your afternoon tea, which wasn't great, unfortunately, and then you can leave when you want. I paid £80 for 2 adults and 1 child and feel like I paid the extra £50 for a photo with peter. My advice would be to just look at the museum and not waste money on the tea.nIf peter and Beatrix Potter stayed in character and stayed through the whole event and not just 1p minute each, then this would have been a different review. I was expecting so much more from this attraction.
We visited when it opened as that was a less busy time, although a coach party were there before us so had to queue for 10mins.nWe all enjoyed reminding ourselves of the characters and books. In the case of my 14 year old he remembered the animated series more than the books. There are scenes laid out with the various characters and a section on Beatrix Potter herself and about where she lived.nThe attraction doesn't take long to go round. There is a cafe onsite and a gift shop.nThere is a Peter Rabbit show that you can purchase with the attraction when buying tickets online.nWe only visited the attraction as the show is for younger fans.
