An odd experience. Old fashioned displays reminded me of my 1960s childhood. Not much interaction and lots of things in show cases. A real eclectic mix of items from across the towns history. Some really interesting things to see dating from pre history through to about the middle of the 20th century. The whole experience was a little dated. Worth a visit on a wet day if you're in the area but I wouldn't make a special visit.

Great experience in the Kendal museum, full of taxidermy, great for family for an hour or so, the ticket to get in wasn't very expensive, but the amount of interactive displays are limited, recommended for children really, after you've seen everything here, there's plenty of things to do in Kendal
