If you're looking for a quiet place for a well priced nicely cooked Sunday roast, this isn't it I'm sorry to say. At £14 for a two courses neither the main course at £9 nor the slightly better dessert at £5 could be considered value for money, no matter how you divide up the individual coat of each course. Vegetables are few and over cooked, although the roast beef portion was generous and tender. No way would i pay anything more than £3 for the dessert, which was okay. It's a place where at best you almost get what you pay for, and no more and you get to eat it in a noisy environment - no quiet Sunday lunch here folks.

Yeah good atmosphere here. Good for dog walkers to take there dogs into the bar. Just a few more seats Inside would improve.

Good pub. Having used for evening meals as well as quick stop for pint after dog walk and bar food. Parking is good and outside seating allows you to watch the world go by. Staff always have been very friendly and without prompting bring water out for any dogs visiting.

The Woolpack Inn is in a great location close to the river. The staff are always welcoming and the drinks are reasonably priced.

Nice place to go for a meal in the upstairs restaurant or a drink in the bar. They also have some rooms should you want to stay overnight. Food was all tasty and served by a bunch of lovely staff. Portions are availabke in kid and adult rather than a separate kids menu. Wine list available if you fancy a glass with some ok wines available. Also quite a nice place for a pre or post lunch walk.
