Recently moved to the area and couldn’t decide which of the 2 Chinese takeaways to use as they both have very similar reviews. Decided on this one. Has some good points, chow mein, chips, prawn toast and sweet and sour chicken balls went down well, however chicken curry wasn’t so good, chicken was rubbery and the sauce was so thick and not a great texture. Found a short black hair in so put me off. Rice definitely isn’t cooked fresh. I probably won’t order from here again.
Family enjoyed the take away. Place lost a star for being cash only and the nearest ATM being out of order.

Overcooked egg fried rice with no egg in! Curry didn’t taste nice either and I was overcharged! Won’t be going here again
Had four friends round for the evening. We each popped a tenner into a kitty. I drove to Golden Rings and ordered a Feast. This was cooked fresh while I waited. There was plenty for everyone Hot and Tasty.Cheap night with our own drinks at home. Good Company.
Quick, fair price, excellent food, never been let down. My absolute favourite Chinese Takeaway. Check whether they're open first though, they shut down for holidays now and again.
I dont normally like Chinese take aways, after living in Singapore for 10 years i was probably spoilt. However I have now found the best Chinese i have had in the UK and am a very happy chappy. 5 stars all round -food staff and service
Never. Ever again had two slice beef in my curry fried. Rice was cold hard brown people saying its best take away thsy got no taste buds im not from the area just viste never use again icelands curry are better
There are two chineese take aways in Thrapston and we have found this place to be friendlier and we got better service.
I’ve just moved in to the area and I was recommended Golden Rings by a friend. All I need to say is wow it was great, best Chinese food I’ve every had and I’ll definitely be going back. Great service and the staff always has a smile
