Food was decent surprisingly for a weatherspoons. The wait times for drinks and food was very long about an hour and the toilets stank so badly the potent smell of urine radiating from the men's toilets. The cocktails were nice and we had a varied couple of shots that were also great.
Very nice atmosphere, full of life. Honestly, cannot understand why they only have a 5 star average here. Staff is kind, the interior is nice. Huge variety of drinks. The food is also ok. Of course not super high quality, but come on, this is a bar. Have not visited the toilet tho, cannot comment about that. Maybe that is the weak point?
Very pleasant and good atmosphere, without playing any music at all. Good service, excellent and very helpful staff. Generally, affordable prices for food and drinks with special offers during the weekdays.
What I will say positive about the place is that the food and drinks are very cheap. The service was very quick as well even though they were busy. The servers were constantly coming up even though we had a group of 20-25 people. My group was there for a few hours and spent quite a bit of money over that time . We even helped the staff clean up. Everything took a turn when we got denied service because of a child in the restaurant that wasn’t ours. Then the manger said we were no longer welcome and were trespassing. We tried to explain it wasn’t our child but the manger is very arrogant and obviously has a complex and something to prove. Very unprofessional and doesn’t know how to handle things nor make a customer happy. He threatened to call the police instead. Everyone in the restaurant was shaking their heads at him and couldn’t believe it when we told them what he did. He also ruined his staff getting a nice tip , which I planned on giving for their work all night. Needless to say, don’t go here , there are plenty of other good pubs in the area.
Can never really criticise a wetherspoons because you know what you're expecting when you walk through those doors. Could have had some more seating on NYE would be my only suggestion.
First time ever having a curry, it was Thursday curry Thursday so thought, why not treat myself to something different on my Birthday . It was nice and very filling but certainly doesn't beat the Fish & Chips
A bustling location just a few steps from Hammersmith Station. Traditional pub styling inside and out but deceptively large, with two frontages. Throughout the day check out the breakfast menu, you'll meet some interesting, jolly, local characters - as you would expect in what is essentially a JD Wetherspoon establishment. The very large range of beers will satisfy every taste. The prices, particularly if paired with food, are almost matchless in London.
Best value eating and drinking establishment. It's very popular. Attended by alot of elderly folk, to keep themselves warm. The lights aren't too bright in there, decor is tired. But it's a good and cheaper alternative to more pricer family run brewery pubs. The fish and chips with mushy peas, are 10/10 from me!!!! PERFECT
Typical Spoons cheap and cheerful. Hard to get a table at peak times. Food good and not too long a wait. Be prepared to clean your own table though as hard working staff struggle to keep up with the turnaround. Much prefer to the other Spoons in Hammersmith.
When you have no idea what to eat, just go to wetherspoon. Staff are friendly. But they are obviously understaffed. There were dirty plates all over the place.
