What a fantastic building, thank you Wetherspoon for restoring and retaining our heritage. Beautiful features. Nice light and airy. The beer garden was spoilt by smokers using the no smoking areas. Had a pepperoni pizza which was very nice, great value as usual. Staff were nice and efficient. Building and tables looked clean.
A well organised Wetherspoon. The staff are well trained and focussed on offering exceptional customer service. The selection of beer, lager, cider, wine, spirits and soft drinks are second to none in the pub trade. Food is great value and well presented. The extensive menu caters for many tastes. Children are well catered for in terms of food, drink and colouring. There is extensive outdoor seating to enjoy when the weather is fine. Well worth a visit for an excellent drinks selection and good pub food.
Fantastic old picture house setting with plenty of seating and a very long bar area. Wetherspoons at its best with a very large beer selection , didn't eat in there so can't comment on that
My pals and travelled to Stafford to try the Picture House following its renovation and we were not disappointed, they have managed to retain many of the original cinema features including the box office, the vaulted ceiling is exquisite. All the usual Weatherspoon’s fair and staff very friendly and helpful. Car park a two minute walk away, definitely will be returning.

Sunday 5th Feb 10am - Sadly I didn't take any pictures as I was too busy devouring the traditional breakfast!!! The inside of this building is beautiful and I love that it is still used as a picture house at times according to my in laws!. The breakfast was quick and delicious, although the latte wasn't the best it was cheap and free refills so I'm going to be realistic and say no it's not a Costa latte but for the price you can't grumble and it wasn't a horrible coffee ‍ I'd definitely go back as it's quick service, cheap and delicious breakfasts!
Our first visit since reopening from flooding. The renovation is great with opening up the balcony, repainting the ceiling detail, the bar area has been redone and the clock works. Along side the covid measures in place the staff were friendly and prompt as always. The coffee machine has had an update with the addition of decaf beans using Lavazza Dec. Which is great for us who like a great tasting coffee but without the caffeine. A really good visit at spoons.
Pretty good. Good value breakfast, lovely interesting venue. Could do with a second coffee station, it's a bit of a walk if you are sitting at the back.
Great meal served quickly and clean floor and table when sitting. Well done all involved. Like the new toilet refurb and fresher look.
Wonderful, a truly super experience, it's a complete time warp back in the 1950s with movie posters to match, love the pictures of famous old actors around the walls, I came here in the 1960's to see a film and it's hardly changed. Wetherspoons I would willingly pay admission, Thanks. Brilliant, the genuine old surroundings take you back over sixty years in time. Well done, and many thanks to Weatherspoons and staff.
