Went for a Sunday lunch on the 27th Nov 22’ with some friends. We had good service, and the food was delicious! The only thing was that they forgot to bring out some of the extras that we paid for that came with our meals but other than that, it was very good.
We came during a midweek evening whilst it was fairly quiet. We had plenty of choice so chose to sit by the log fire. Food was really nice, staff were friendly and chatty. All round a really nice experience here.

Had a lovely family meal 6 of us before the England game. Service was good, menu was fine. Very nicely furnished with some booths large enough for 6 adults. My husband and both had the crab and prawn fishcakes. We both commented on how tasty and moist they were. The chicken escalope was also very good.
We arrived at the pub and waited to be seated, whilst we were acknowledged soon after arrival by a member of staff it was a further 5 minutes before anyone came across to take us to our seat. That may not sound a lot but when you're just standing in a pub, it feels like like an awfully long time. Once we were seated the service was very good and our waiter very attentive. The food was very good, although it could have been hotter. We are coming for Christmas Dinner and hope that the little niggles are ironed out by then but we are looking forward to it.
Lovely pub. Decor was stylish and the drinks were very reasonable. Staff were friendly. However the main thing is the food. The food is amazing. Had a messy Berger and it was honestly the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The beef dripping gravy was to die for.
Nice upmarket pub with great staff and the food was to a high standard. If you enjoy burgers the dirty burger is amazing. My parter had the steak and said it was very good. Fresh modern look with a great atmosphere
This trip was exceptionally good. I'm a little dubious about Whittington Arms due to past experiences. However, this time everything was great. Service was great. Food was great. Cocktails were great. Please keep it at this level and I won't be dubious about Whittington Arms again! Dietary restrictions: One of us was gluten free. They have a good GF menu but it was a bit limited particularly starters
The staff were excellent, especially Kim. They were really helpful and accommodating. The food was lovely! Went for my mum's birthday and she was so pleased. We all had a lovely evening, thank you!
We came as a group of 10 today 28/12/2022 after a funeral . We were seated at 1.30pm. Waited almost 2hrs just for the starter! I understand staff shortages but that was shocking! We finally had dessert around 5pm and by that time we all couldn't wait to leave! My Sister in Law paid for everyone and although a discount was given because of the long wait, we won't be coming back again.
