First visit today, and enjoyed a great vegetarian breakfast. Excellent service, too, and decent prices. Will definitely be coming back soon!Food: 5/5
The food is top notch. Absolutely delicious. Not one of the nine of us could fault it. Good portion sizes and the price wasn’t bad either. The beer tastes as clean and crisp as you’d expect a nice cold beer to be. The staff were very patient and polite. There’s a smoking area outside a few steps away from a stunning Koi carp lake with some big expensive fish swimming around. Been here a few times now and it’s always the same, ten out of ten. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces. Kid-friendliness: Very patient with the two children in our party and do kids meals.
Lovely food set in lovely surroundings. The only issue that I had was when our food came we were not offered any sauces which we had to ask for.Food: 5/5
Came for Sunday lunch twice. Food is nice but they are greedy people and ill explain why. They charge the higher end prices of a Sunday dinner £15-£17 which is fine if you got the right portion size. What they do is they put the tiniest amount of Gravy on your plate making you pay an extra £1.50. Then for three people they fetch you a little bowl of vegetables which is absolutely tiny for 3 people! 1 carrot each. Which you end up paying £2.50 for more. They make sure to give you the smallest amount of everything possible so you have to pay extra for different things... all the "extras" are on the menu. Nice food shockingly bad portion sizes. Will be eating elsewhere next time.
A really lovely place that we discovered by accident. Ample parking, lovely patio area and orangery style dining room. Staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was great with lots to choose from. All of our food was gorgeous, but the twice cooked chips are next level! Proper homemade chips! Amazing! Miles better than any chain pub restaurant and better priced! Absolutely recommend and can’t wait until we can visit again!
We visit every time we are in Northumberland and have such a great time. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty...makes me feel like proper home food but with great service. We were served by Connor who was very attentive and helpful. He recommended some great choices and everyone in our party was very happy will be back.Food: 5/5
Came here for Sunday lunch after seeing good review on Instagram by a few different influencers… was not disappointed, the food was delicious! One of the best roasts I’ve had out. The service was fab and the staff were very attentive. It’s a very lively atmosphere on a Sunday because it’s so popular and it’s a fairly small dining area which I didn’t mind but something to bare in mind if you’re looking for a chilled Sunday roast!
Popped in on our way to the Airport. Chose this place due to the reviews and I am not disappointed. The food was excellent and the portion was huge. Cozy surroundings and super friendly staff. Highly recommend this one.Recommended dishesScampi and Chips
Fantastic Goat cheese pizza with a side of potato skins. Great drinks, too. Italian lemon meringue dessert was to die for! . Wonderful staff. Highly recommend. Food: 5/5
Past 2 times I have been have been out of this world however last night wasn’t so great batter was stodgy on the fish and partner said parmo wasn’t nice bit disappointing will be back but not in a rush !!! Mushy peas looked like they have been sitting for weeksFood: 3/5
