Lovely building with range of decent real ales. Location is on a busy road which makes for easy access but not much in the way of a view. Free plentiful parking. The food is a bit of a conundrum. I've had both excellent and terrible meals at the Badger. The service is usually good, the staff friendly and helpful, although they can be pretty busy. The menu is set by Vintage Inns so fairly standard. Sometimes the food attempts to be a bit gimmicky. Overall I'll definitely go back, but choose carefully from the menu.

Just had a lovely steak and mini dessert and tea. A superb meal, just the right amount. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Nice meal with a friend. Had the duck and some sweet potato fries, was lovely as was the creme brûlée desert. Food was very tasty and no real complaints. Nice homely venue. Fair prices in my opinion and a decent menu. Table service which we did not expect but you can also order at the bar yourself. Friendly and helpful staff

Has always been a favourite of mine to frequent. Lovely country pub with a warm atmosphere and great food. Would highly recommend this place. It has also been recently refurbished and looks great. When booking ask if you can get a table near their open fireplace!

Went on a Sunday and was mega busy. Waited more than expected time for a table, even though we booked one and food took ages to come out. Food was fine, but came lukewarm. The staff were really friendly and the place was reasonably priced. Might be better when not so busy.
