Excellent service for our Christmas Eve family meal. Restaurant was lovely and staff friendly and helpful. The food was lovely however the menu option I chose, the pork, was a very small portion, with a very small serving if vegetables. I would return though as having eaten there several times in the past, the experience has always been good.

Good food, taste beer and sider. Perfect for party's. Very clean room and nice country surroundings. Nice and quiet

Usually the food at the White Lion are great however on this occasion the Fish Pie was swamped by the cheese on top of the spuds so all you could taste was cheese and for the price the serving was small.  The 'Toffee Apple Crumble with lashing of custard' did not taste of toffee and the custard tasted just like 'packet custard' rather than proper made custard.   All in all it was very very disappointing!
