Found this pub by mistake, first time visit. What a fantastic place this is!! By far the best pub in the area! Made us feel really welcome. The staff and manager were fun, friendly, bubbly and talked to us, had a laugh and made us feel really welcome. The owner knows his stuff when it comes to beer - and my god - you can tell - the quality of the ales are amazing! It was pretty busy during the day too - with nice regulars and good conversation and banter. This place is a must to check out!
Awesome pub! Great selection of beers, really friendly staff. It’s now under new management and running some great nights including Thursday quiz with pizza, Street food on fridays, and Caribbean food nights. Would recommend
Great pub with friendly staff. Spread over several levels with fantasic seating. Pub has its own carpark at rear for convinient parking. The owners Chris and Amy, are trying to get live music going there as well. Definitely well worth visit.
A year ago was a great, lively pub with regular events happening karaoke, quiz, Street food. 2 changes of management later and greene king have managed to run it down into a nondescript ghost pub. Shame
They've stepped up their game in here and it's now quite a tasty little pub! 3 ales on tap when I visited and a nice choice of places to sit. I'll stop by when I'm next in the area
Chris was without a doubt the most switched on, most welcoming publican you will come across. I encourage anyone who visits to try the pop up food options that he has available. If I could give more stars I would.
My local so I'm biased, but the guys running it have really turned it around, no food but the pop up food on Friday night is great and varied. Always made to feel welcome.
I great local pub with lots of old school nooks and crannies to snuggle in. Only missing some food options but if it's just a nice pub you're after give this a try.
Seats friendly and now has the pool table back and Bar Billiards! I just wish they had more Ales on Tap more regularly.
