Went to The Feathers to watch the football last night and had a really pleasant time. Harry was very quick behind the bar and still made time to chat about the game. the other staff member, Ellie, was very helpful too.
It was really dreadful. The beer and lager was flat, and appeared warm. When the staff had this issue bought to their notice, they just poured the drink into another glass, again and again making the problem even more compounded. At the prices you are charging this and other issues should not be happening. Being an ex publican, I am aware of the cost of a barrel of beer/ lager, and whilst I also understand cost to run an establishment has grossly increased, £5-20 for a pint of Carling can only represent greed. I honestly believe that you as a company need to study your customer base, and realise that increased cost of living has had a serious impact on people's pockets.
Appalling service. Don’t eat any thing with fish, each time it has given one of us issues, burger is burnt, chicken with chewy unknown bits, escalope will break your teeth. And Yes, you are waiting on average for over an hour for your food. The nice staff has offered to refund all the cost of the food, the manager can’t even make eye contact or barely say a word that could be considered as a basic acknowledgement.
Great mother's day meal. Food was delicious and service excellent. Thank you for the surprise gift bag. A lovely touch Service: 5/5
Booked a table for 7.30pm on a saturday night, staff had no recollection of booking was seated on a 3 seater when we were a party of 5, had to find our own chairs to pull up, ordered drinks and food at the bar, waited 40 minutes for starters after being told their would be a ‘short delay’ for food as there was a bigger party next door. After asking for starters they came out we then had to tell them we were finished and ready for mains no staff came to clear our table. Steaks came out over cooked so sent back as wanted med rare and were well done, steaks then came back out after 30 mins, bad service okay food. The lady on the bar with black hair and eyeliner was helpful and attentive as could be. Definitely understaffed such a shame as good pub and seemed to be busy
Went to the Feathers with friends for a drink and lunch. Our drinks were OK and my friends' food was OK when it arrived after 40 minutes. My food didn't arrive after over an hour so I just got my money back and went hungry. The manager didn't seem bothered that I hadn't revived my food. Food & drinks: Very slow service for food.
Just a lunch stop on a journey. Great sausage & mash, hunters chicken tasty but a little tough. Will return if in the area.Service: 4/5
Friendly, beer well kept, reasonable menu. You have to pay for parking presumably because of the close location of the rail station but can get some of your money back at the bar.Service: 4/5
Pub is nice enough and dog friendly, spoilt by having to pay for parking, plus an annoying quiz dominating the evening when I just wanted to meet some friends.
One of the elite pub/management combos in Surrey-friendly, polite, efficient - all achieved by top class staff and well stocked bar Tom deserves credit for keeping up the high standards-kerp up the good work
