Amazing, cannot fault them! Brenda and Ty served us today and they were so warm and welcoming. Food was amazing! So big we had to ask for take away boxes! Pizza and chips were heavenly! Toilets clean too!First time eating out since covid and well worth the wait!!! Will be back with the rest of the family soon! So lovely sitting outside having lunch by the pond! Thank you so much!!!!
I had booked a table last minute and they were able to accommodate myself and my partner for an outside table for two. Thank you! We had then ordered a cocktail. Unfortunately, we didn't like what we had ordered our own fault I believe We then spoke to the manager Brenda Oh what a blessing she was/is has been to the establishment. She was so accommodating and couldn't of done anymore if she tried. Because of her, we will definitely be coming back!! Again, thank you team!! L
Lovely, calm spot. There's plenty of space for kids to run around. We only had a couple of drinks. We got there around 4 pm, but the kitchen was too busy, so we could not eat, unfortunately.
Beautiful, quaint pub off the beaten track in Nutfield, Redhill. Excellent service and a lovely menu with an array of starters, mains and tasty deserts.
Had a Sunday dinner in here. The staff were really nice and let us order just before the kitchen closed. The food was so delicious, would definitely recommend! The pub itself was lovely and had a huge fireplace, it was really cosy. The car park is huge as well. Looking forward to visiting again.
We came for an impromptu lunch and had the scampi and burger meals. The food was nice, but left feeling underwhelmed - the prices are a bit expensive for what you get, especially the fudge cake which had one of the smallest slices I'd ever seen! The pub is lovely though and the service is excellent, but I think they could do with lowering their prices or providing more for what you get.
I used to love this pub. Today we came in after freezing cold walk and sat by the wood burner to warm up. We were promptly told that all tables were booked except one and rudely swept off by the woman in charge to a freezing corner. We couldn't take our jackets off it was so cold. There was no booking sign on the table. There was no rush on and many empty tables. An hour later and the table by the wood burner was still empty. That is not how you run a pub and that is not how to make customers feel at home. We could have sat there until people arrived or until the actual time of the booking so this was just an exercise in control. Then I ordered a prosessco. See photo for what I received. Most pubs give you a small bottle which is a nearly full glass. They charged 5 quid for this. The triple cooked chips had bearly been cooked once as they were cold and hard in the middle but didn't say anything as didn't fancy dealing with manager.
No ambience or atmosphere on a Saturday evening at 8pm. Despite there being a lovely log burner on display, it wasn’t in use and the restaurant area was freezing cold. Had to spend the whole evening wearing a jacket. A few items were off the menu which we weren’t told about until we were placing our order. I ordered a double burger with cheese for main, but the burgers were over cooked and hard to chew. Cheese was so melted it didn’t even look like cheese. Side of coleslaw was so small it was hardly worth putting on the menu.Having waited for what felt like an hour, it was beyond disappointing. I regret not sending it back having paid £16 for it! Crumble was lovely though. The round of coffees that followed were cold. Waitress made a good effort to engage and entertain. After this latest return visit, I have made the decision never to return.
lovely countryside pub with fresh food and great location.
I don't know weather it was a Christmas set meal that was the bad experience, Turkey probably iceland roll ,veg looked like 2 min steamed packet and the room where we sat was cold no one took there coats off this is probably unfair and I will have to try main menu food
