Decent steak on steak night, very fair price. Chips slightly underdone but by no means complaint worthy and not a regular occurrence.

Very nice place and friendly staff. Food is great and very quick to serve from ordering. You can tell the food is all freshly cooked.

Had a pre-70th birthday meal, here with family and friends. The food was excellently cooked and presented...served by a very friendly and efficient waitress. The portions were large and contained many local sourced ingredients. Well priced drinks, including lagers, ales and wine, again, served by friendly and welcoming staff. This is a very popular venue for both locals and visitors and one my family use often...the management, avoid that annoying practice of jamming as many seats and tables, into the available space, so, in the bar area at least, you dine in comfort (although today I heard several people, including 3 in my party; complaining about the place being cold.) There is a bright and airy conservatory, free WiFi and a small parking area...far too tight for space...and parking is restrictive, on the road outside. Certain lazy drivers, have taken to parking on the grass verges here, turning them into muddy, water filled eyesores. My one and only gripe about today was when paying my groups bill. I was behind 2 men, who ordered their drinks, however, when the girl took their money...instead of serving me...proceeded to serve 2 further couples and a table of 4...(all were at the bar after me)...leaving me waiting to pay for almost 5 minutes!!! That small error, wasn't enough to spoil an otherwise excellent Sunday, lunchtime celebration. Highly recommended.
