Lovely rooms. Great food, good portions and good quality. Nice pub with loads of activities and lovely staff, Simeon and Nina were extremely lovely. Hopefully I have a reason to come back soon. Highly recommend a stay here.
Me and my family come here every Wednesday for the pub quiz and normally eat. The food is superb and the staff are amazing! The quiz is £2 per person and goes from 6:30 - 8:30. It's really fun and always enjoy myself:nnSpecial thanks to Kerry and Nate.
Disappointing Fish and Chips ExperiencenWe recently visited The Wellington Pub in Seaford, hoping for a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations.nFish and Chips: The fish and chips were a mixed bag. While the chips were nice, the batter on the fish was disappointingly chewy. It lacked the crispy texture we associate with well-prepared fish and chips.nFlat Coke: To add to our disappointment, the Coke we ordered was completely flat. A refreshing drink is essential to complement a meal, and this oversight was unfortunate.nService and Timing: On the positive side, the food arrived after a short wait, and it was indeed piping hot.nOverall, while the food quality had its ups and downs, the overall experience at The Wellington Pub was not what we would expect from a decent pub. We didn’t complain due to time constraints, but we hope they address these issues to provide a better dining experience for future patrons.nPlease note that this review reflects our personal experience, and others may have different opinions. If you decide to visit, I recommend checking more recent reviews to see if improvements have been made
Are you hungry? PLEASE, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. It is a new level of low. I never write negative comments - this is my first one. We ordered fish and chips and calamari- I am not really sure what I actually have eaten..... fish was I believe frozen, was literally falling apart, full of water, flat. The butter was still muddy. Calamari- if it wasn't for my receipt I wouldn't know what was that. The 4.3 stars is definitely for rooms. Hope I am not going to be sick as 20 mins after my 'meal' I already have a stomach ache.
The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and exactly what we needed.nWe did have breakfast in the morning full English which was delicious, and set us up wonderfully for the seven sisters walk we did.
