We went here for an early evening meal after work, there is a good selection of meals on the menu, and the portions are very large. The young lad that served us was very attentive and helpful. We had the fish pie which was really good and very filling.Food: 5/5
We stopped at The White Hart for lunch on our way to Norwich. Easy distance off the A14 in very pleasant surroundings. An old building that has been beautifully modernised. We had 2 of the platters which were extremely generous. The bar and restaurant menu offers a good choice for all tastes.
AMAZING BURGER!!!! Seriously the best burger I've had in England. The staff was very friendly and the wait time for food wasn't bad at all. I loved the beer garden, especially on a sunny afternoon. I can't wait to return!!
I marked this as 3 because the wait seemed too long for the number of customers they seemed to have in. We waited close to an an hour on a quiet Wednesday night. That said the staff were lovely and the food was tasty. I just thought that for the price there were slightly better options locally.
Nice pub, not a great selection of real ales. had some food, the burger and onion rings was amazing but the chips and salad let it down. All the staff was younger and friendly and really switch on. Only marked the place down on the chips, but would definitely go back. 8/10
Disappointing. I had the brie bacon and mushrooms which tasted heavily of blue cheese. The steak was meant to be rare but was so heavily carbonised on the outside that I had to send it back. It wasn't rare on the inside. The waiting staff were very polite though.
Excellent Sunday Roast - biggest sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had! Food was good value too in my opinion.
Dinner was amazinggggggggg. We can't wait to come back. Kirsty was beyond amazing she took amazing care of us. The Garlic Bread with the Marmalade was amazing, we ate it so fast we didn't get to take a photo of it. The rest of dinner was beyond fantastic.
Just dined here with two granddaughters. Food was beautiful and portions VERY generous. The kids didn't find the burger palatable and so the chef came out and explained the seasonings to them, and advised them how to order on a future occasion. I appreciated this approach, because he informed them. He took off the price of the burgers from the bill, and we left very pleased. I'll be back. I live in the area, and I'd say this was the best food I've had in recent years, in the Huntingdon and Godmanchester area, and excellent service. Kid-friendliness: See my comment above
Amazing food and absolutely massive portions. Extra points for the huge, clearly homemade, Yorkshire pudding too. It was a nice touch not to soak it in gravy before serving so it stayed nice and crispy around the edges whilst I worked out how to attack it! Oh, and the gravy was not thin which is always a plus in my book. I will definitely be coming back again!
