Brampton Mill is full of character. The River Ouse is exceptionally high at the moment but thankfully you can still reach the Mill. We had a wonderful Saturday lunch...6 of us, our table was upstairs. Fantastic ambience. Our waitress, Lauren, was very helpful and jolly. If you like desert do not miss the chocolate ... One of the best deserts I've ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would highly recommend. Parking: Plenty of parking.
Had a lovely meal here. Food was excellent. Service excellent. Very friendly staff. If you get there in daylight the setting is beautiful at the side of the river. The building is an old water mill and there is a glass panel inside where you can view the water passing under the building. After dark the lights make it very atmospheric. Parking: A large car park at the rear of the building Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get into bar area. It is a very multi level building and I'm not sure how you get to the different levels. I didn't notice a disabled toilet.
Warm and comfortable. Pleasant, friendly table staff. The arrival of courses was well paced. Plenty of choice on the menu. Very reasonably priced especially the set lunch menu. Thank you.
Really good service. Very friendly, polite and helpful servers Callum + Adam . Great food which we didn’t have to wait a long time for. Fresh food and really nice atmosphere.
Lovely meal, was served by Chloe who was very friendly and attentive. Jordan was our chef and everything was delicious. I had the whipped brie for starters and my partner had the squid. I had the chicken burger and my partner had the pork belly and scallops and we had a side of halloumi fries. My favourites were the squid, halloumi fries and the coleslaw that came with the burger, but everything was excellent. Will definitely come back!
Sunday lunch..... Pre-book to ensure you get a table ..... Busy and popular.... Food all good.... Service slightly slow but they are busy.... Excellent staff.... Felt very much at home. £110 for two a little pricey but we left full and relaxed...... Will be back soon at some point ...
Lovely roast dinners - thanks Jordan! - nice atmosphere as always. Great service from Chloe she was so kind and helpful. Also lovely service from Lydia.
Beautiful pub in a lovely setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I thought menu was varied and sounded great, and the 2 for £12 cocktails is a great midweek deal. Unfortunately, the food was quite underwhelming for the price. The pizza was a bit basic and looked homemade and I had a steak sandwich that was “fine” and not cooked med rare as asked. Finally, the falafel bowl had the saddest, driest falafel I’ve ever seen. Important to note, we did mention this to the staff and they treated us to dessert because of it. Unfortunately for a £100 lunch it just was not the food I would have expected. Service and ambiance were exceptional and I’d happily return for drinks but don’t think I’d come back for the food.
Fantastic food, lovely surroundings & 100% worth a visit. Shall be returning again for dinner very soon!
Sunday lunch for myself and the Mrs.... had our 7week old son which brampton mill made possible to sit in an adequate seating area where room for a buggy was... staff where lovely and attentive.... only thing I'd about the meal would be... "maybe add a little jug of gravy to the roast" and it's a 5 out of 5 winner. Beautiful place and meal
