Great compact unit but sounds are excellent. Great for tavistock. Just wish there was something similar in Plymouth. Great acts and tribute bands

My second time at the Wharf after seeing T'Pau here 4 years ago. We had a good time then so were happy to come back and see Dire Streets. This is an excellent venue - small and intimate, but with a wide variety of acts. The bar staff were friendly and happy to chat, and the band were incredible.
Can't wait to come back, and hopefully it won't be 4 years again.

Excellent music venue. Very friendly staff. Can enjoy a night out with no worries of drunken idiots spoiling it. Always a BBQ cooking burgers and a selection of ales available. 
Recently took my 8yr  old son to see his first gig , LIVE WIRE , an AC/DC tribute band, without any worries of it being any but a very enjoyable evening. Absolutely loved it.
Even the PA system is by Court Acoustics so sound is always superb. 
Highly recommend.

Old style quirky cinema. 
We went to see the commuter and it was quite excited about this cinema as its definitely more of a unique experience than the very commercial cinemas now. You can forgive the hard seats and the bits and bobs on the stage, as you still get totally lost in the film, and thats what a good cinema is all about. 
Only criticism is....... it could have been better;
It was very, very cold inside, that may not be like that all the time but it got pretty uncomfortable towards the end of the film. 
Also there was very little in the way of snacks and drinks to choose from, some bags of popcorn, chocolate and some cans of soft drinks wouldn't have gone a miss! As it was a a Friday night it would have been good to have been able to get a drink at the bar or a hot drink even, but the bar was all shut up. We made do with a bag of Star mix but would have spent more money if there would have been more choice. I think if this cinema had of been offering more I would have been tempted to arrive early and have a coffee and a chat before the film.
