We came for lunch on a Thursday lunch. The young man and young lady who served us were so welcoming and the service was exceptional. We had the veg lasagne and chicken madras and loved it! Highly recommended!
This is my local pub and I have to say it’s the friendliest pub I’ve ever been to. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the landlady Ann Marie goes over and above to ensure her customers are well looked after and happy. We have great entertainment in a happy friendly atmosphere, what more could you possibly want from your local pub. Long may it continue
New manager and staff last year. Doing a great job. Good atmosphere with regular live music and events. Follow their page to find posts of when free food is being provided.... ie mobile chip shop, outside caterers providing hotpot, butter pie etc. Landlady and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Recommend this pub!
Great place, great atmosphere, good priced drinks and the staff are great

Great place , Friendly Staff, good prices, and live entertainment
Old and dated inside and Staff member Ann came across rude would not go again
Tired looking pub which doesn't appear to have had a refurb for over 10 years .. however friendly staff
Appalling customer service chose this pub, after travelling from Brighton, for a family get together of 9 people in total, went to bar ordered drinks and asked if we could sit inside eating area, but was told did not have the room so we happily sat in the bar area, but before we even managed to finish our drinks was told by a rude young female member of staff we would have to move as the table we were sat at was booked for 2.30 no reservation notice on table ? I asked could we at least finish our drinks but her reply was no as it was booked and that the people were there so we had to go outside in the rain with 3 children as there was nowhere else in the pub for us to go totally spoilt the family reunion, first meeting together since our mother passed away last year i would avoid at all costs local people seemed to be only people that mattered , wouldn't even give it 1 star but wouldnt allow post unless 1 was selected
Family & Dog Friendly Pub....Very welcoming with regular free events x
