Lovely pub with amazing food! Staff really friendly and attentive... even an area of the pub that dogs are allowed... also prices are very reasonable!! if only we lived nearer would definitely visit more often.

Very kind and lovely serving staff. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were great. Quick service and the facilities were very nice, had that quaint country cottage feel.

Decided to have tea at a pub, we chose here as we have been before. Wife had chicken and ham pie which was full of lumps of chicken and the chips were excellent. I went for the special "fish pie". It was full of lumps of fish not just strands and the grilled cheese top was very tasty. Only minor downside was the carrots had no taste (as if overboiled) but I will not let a carrot come between me and a return visit.

Been going to this little gem for a couple of years now, every other week. Food is always consistently good, service tremendous and price superb.... give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Good food & good service, not too expensive, just lacked a bit of atmosphere, it was lunchtime & not many customers. Will definitely try in the evening....had an evening meal last night, only two other tables were occupied, scampi lovely, chips over cooked & sorry looking, not nice.When we left at 9.15 it was completely empty! lacks any atmosphere at all.
