Our room was very spacious and very comfortable. The bed was very large and also comfortable. Really enjoyed our breakfast and also our evening meals, which were delicious. I am gluten free and this proved to be no trouble which is not true of many eateries I visit. We will definitely be back .
What a wonderful place. I'm so very glad I went. We didn't pre book our meal, but the warm friendly staff managed to slot us in and have a table within minutes of walking in the door . Staff so amazing. Myself and family can't wait to go back again ..
We went for a dinner & he starter was like blurred up mashed potato & it was supposed to leek & potato soup.nThe belly pork was really tough & the brocolli was rock hard.nThe scampi was burnt.nThe burger roll was still frozen & the burger had no flavour.nI wouldn't eat here again.
We went to my mother‘s 85th birthday party for the evening, I was very disappointed with the food portions! Two of us decided to have the curry which was £18 each for six small pieces of beef in some sauce plus £2. 95 for naan bread? The portion size was no different to Wetherspoons, but the price was three times more!!! and that’s with no drink!nIf you’re looking for good value, this is not the place to go.nOn the positive side, the staff were very good
We shared a birthday lunch for 8 people today.The dining area was warm.and spacious,a good list of menu choices and a specials board..from light lunches to meaty fishy options.i had the roast parsnips soup ,which was v good.we all ordered different meals and all served promptly and well presented, v good service too.
