Very good campsite with excellent activities (we used the pitch and putt and swimming pool) and close proximity to several beaches. Good shower/ toilet block which is well lit for the night. Plenty of drinking water taps. Only issue I had is that the music in the facilities block was on all night and I did not want to listen to loud dance music when I went to the loo at 5.30 in the morning and was trying to keep myself sleepy!

We stayed last Easter and had a fantastic time, OH such a different story this year. Power cut and no info, no one came to explain, when I asked what was going on the men just said that Martins Bar had no electric, nothing about us in Motorhomes etc. Twice this happened. Don't think that it would make much difference to the bar as it was a shambles. First day they had run out of most of the menu. Second day again run out of most items, what they served up , I would give to anyone. They need a good sort out. they've done so many improvements to enlarge the site, but have forgotten the importance of customer service. Sorry Highlands it's a shame we left a day early because we couldn't stand 1) wondering if there will be electric. 2) food appalling . 3) no electric no facilities

Very helpful staff. Nice food and club house. Swimming pool. Good toilet and shower blocks. ( nice and warm)Lovely veiws and nice walks. Excellent place to visit

Highlands End Holiday Park. Holiday, well I can think of another word for it. The restaurant was a joke, took over an hour for the food to arrive and that was after queuing for over 20 minutes. And then “pop” a power cut, but not in all areas of the restaurant. After eating in the semi dark, went back to my FULLY SERVICED PITCH that I booked back in January to be told, you need to switch off as much electricity as possible as the grid was overloaded. Now this tells me two things. Highlands End have added to the existing loading (silly thing to do) and the minute we get a very wet and cold Easter the existing system can’t cope with the load. The second thing this tells me is that I paid for something the site couldn’t deliver. Not just once but AGAIN on Easter Sunday night, the camp authorities came round knocking on everybody’s doors, asking once again, to switch off, but this time with the added, the site was in danger of going into complete blackout! So a word to the wise, if you can, check the weather forecast, wish I could have done in January, as if I knew what I knew now, I would have avoided the place like the plague. The roads (sorry single tracks) were covered in mud, oh and god forbid there was a vehicle coming as the only thing to do was step of the single track and into the mud. Not even a narrow gravel path for pedestrians who then have to cover their boots or shoes with mud. A joke of a site that is only for good weather days or the odd drop of rain. I for one will be telling my friends there are better, friendlier and much CHEAPER sites in Dorset and to give this one a very wide berth!

Great views. Great interior. Friendly staff . Great facilities. Perfect for people who are not keen on masses of tourists.
